Our Leadership Team
Fr. Rohan Lobo – India/Germany
Fr Rohan grew up in Mumbai, India. He graduated in Economics and worked as a trainer in the outsourcing industry specialising in communications, moderation, stress and time management along with customer services. He arrived in Europe in 2007 to join the Emmanuel School of Mission, Altötting as a student as is now its director. He was formed as a priest in both Brussels and Munich and ordained in 2016. He has served in two parishes in the diocese of Munich. He is currently training to be a systemic counsellor. Three words that describe him well are adaptable, humorous and resourceful.
Darren Sheridan – United Kingdom
Darren has a wealth of experience in education, music, and mission. He has taught at all levels of education in both state and private institutions and has also served as a director of evangelisation in the heart of London. He has trained educators and young adults around the world in faith formation, liturgy and music. He is an active media composer and songwriter with several published works. Over a decade ago, Darren attended the Emmanuel School of Mission in Rome where he discovered his zeal for spreading the Gospel through new and creative means. Three words that describe him well are creative, optimistic, and enterprising.
Anne-Claire Albisetti – Canada
Anne-Claire was working as a speech therapist in Canada before joining the Rejoice Team. After completing ESM in 2016/17, she kept a burning desire in her heart to return to Germany and give back to the youth, inspired by the life-changing experiences of that year. She has been involved in music since childhood, and most importantly, she leads the choir in her parish with enthusiasm and joy. Three words that describe her well are efficient, joyful, and adventurous.
Our Missionaries
Barbora, 20 – Czech Republic
I came to Rejoice to deepen my relationship with God and learn to hear His voice more clearly. I bring creativity, joy, and musical gifts—especially flute and singing—along with a heart ready to serve and a touch of sarcastic humour. For me, mission is a way of life: stepping out in trust, sharing the Gospel through my talents, and living out my purpose as a Christian.
Anne-Fleur, 23 – France
After finishing my studies in maths and education, I came to Rejoice to take a year for God—to grow in faith and evangelise in everyday life. I bring musical talents (piano, guitar, ukulele), video editing skills, and a creative heart ready to serve. Mission for me is living faith in every moment and reaching others through simple, daily encounters.
Johanna, 20 – Romania (Hungarian)
I came to Rejoice to grow closer to God, seek His will, and live in His joy and love. I bring a passion for music—singing, flute, and piano—along with kindness, gentleness, and organisational skills. For me, mission means letting my whole life reflect God’s love and joy in everyday ways.
Dawid, 23 – Poland
As a theology student, I came to Rejoice to learn how to share Christ more effectively and discover the Emmanuel Community’s charism. I bring experience with youth groups, retreats, and working with people from difficult backgrounds, plus a hopeful spirit. Mission is about listening to God, being close to others, and sharing only what He gives.
Evelyn, 18 – Australia
I came to Rejoice to deepen my relationship with God and dedicate this year to sharing His love with today’s youth. I bring a love for theology, philosophy, and literature, plus musical gifts in singing and dancing. Mission is using my talents to spread God’s love and joy, especially to those who haven’t yet encountered Him.
Gabriela, 20 – Poland
I came to Rejoice to surrender fully to Jesus and evangelise through music and creativity. I bring a love for singing, dancing, acting, and playing instruments, plus a passion for photography, video, and cooking—especially Polish pierogis! Mission is a bold, joyful adventure of faith, trusting God in everything.
Basia, 26 – Poland
I came to Rejoice to trust Jesus more deeply and discover His plan for my life. I bring compassion, a desire to support others, and gifts in singing, graphic design, and social media. Mission is being a small tool in God’s big plan—doing what I can, knowing it’s all about His greatness.
Philipp, 22 – Germany
I came to Rejoice to grow in faith and learn how to share it with joy. I bring openness, curiosity, joy, and my guitar, ready to embrace new experiences. For me, mission is sharing the love and transformation I’ve received through Jesus so others can encounter Him too.
Samuel, 21 – France
I came to Rejoice to deepen my faith, trust God more, and grow in confidence when speaking about Jesus. I bring musical gifts, a joyful heart, and a desire to share my journey with Christ. Mission is going out to people and showing them the joy and truth of following Jesus.
Tobiáš, 19 – Slovakia
I came to Rejoice to spend a year with God, offer Him my talents, and discover His plan for me. I bring my culture, humour, and love, and I want to be present for others with joy. Mission is giving what I’ve received—offering light and help when it’s most needed.
Katarina, 20 – Slovakia
I came to Rejoice to grow closer to Jesus, discover His will, and be set ablaze by His love. I bring my talents, imperfections, joy, and a bit of craziness, all with a desire to do good. Mission is showing people they are loved by God and helping them encounter His heart.
