COME JOIN US FOR 9 MONTHS!

Trimester 1

As a community, be formed for mission by learning: how music serves the liturgy; the kerygma; salvation history; apologetics; and the skills to be effective in the new evangelisation. Using your musical talents, create a hope-filled musical production, blending powerful testimonies and popular music to engage people who have yet to hear the Good News. Enflamed with the Holy Spirit, take your show across Europe, encounter many people, and proclaim the joy of love.

Trimester 2

Experience the beauty of the Church’s spiritual and contemplative exercises during a guided a retreat. Discover the face of Christ in serving the poor during two weeks of compassion service. Collaborate with other like-minded musicians during our international music week while developing skills through several in-depth options: song writing, arranging, theory, guitar sessions or sound and technic. Prepare for the International Easter Gathering by performing in the choir, the band or one of our many services. Rehearse and take part in the Rejoice show which aims to share the power of the risen Lord through worship and testimony.

Trimester 3

Through the vast treasures of the Church, be enriched in faith formation and discover what it means to be human, to flourish and be the person God has created you to be. Rehearse a repertoire of worship songs as a community and engage with other young adults. Perform across Germany with the GIG festival. Share the joy of your faith through worship and encountering others. Grow in your leadership and management skills by organising the music for World Youth Day with the Emmanuel community.

Take your show across Europe, encounter many people, and proclaim the joy of love.

The new term begins with a spiritual retreat followed by a two-week experience of compassion service. Be involved in the planning, leading and participation of our welcoming missions and short courses, such as:

– Song Writing

– Composition

– Film Making

– Rhetoric and Media

– Leadership

– Youth Winter Forum

The last term concludes with our Volunteers programme followed by the international Easter Forum.

Prepare the welcoming missions and the volunteer’s programme.

Work on your final creative project.

Prepare the music and creative programme for World Youth Day in Portugal.
